China Gezhouba and Sungrow sign 3 PV power plants contract in Myanmar: China Energy Construction Gezhouba International Group, in an announcement, said that the company and solar PV inverter supplier Sungrow have signed an agreement to build 3 photovoltaic projects in Myanmar.  In the Budakong and Changgu town of Myanmar, the photovoltaic power stations are of 40 MW each, while in Minjian town, it is a 30 MW photovoltaic power station EPC spot exchange project. The work scope includes design, supply, construction and commissioning of the new photovoltaic plants and booster station.

S.C New Energy to increase production capacity of PV cell equipment: Releasing its 2020 Annual A-Share Issuance and Funds Raised Report, S.C New Energy said it will issue shares to specific targets to raise funds no more than RMB 250 million ($38.77 million). After deducting the issuance costs, the funds will be used for the industrialization of ultra-efficient solar cell equipment projects, advanced semiconductor equipment (semiconductor cleaning equipment and furnace tube equipment), R&D projects, and supplementary working capital projects. These projects will enhance the company's PERC+ cell equipment and HJT equipment production capacity, and accelerate the company's product upgrade, it said.

JinkoSolar ranked #1 in 2020 in India: Module supplier JinkoSolar captures 22% of Indian market share and emerges as No.1 , the company said in an announcement. According to statistics, JinkoSolar's shipments in the Indian market in 2020 exceeded 1.2 GW, far more than for its competitors. In 2020, the company had provided its Tiger series bifacial transparent backsheet high-efficiency modules to India and signed orders for bifacial double glass modules. JinkoSolar was one of India's largest suppliers of monocrystalline bifacial products for a SECI 450MW projects.

Arctech Solar 2020 net profit increase by 72.52%: Issuing its performance report, Chinese tracker and mounting systems company Arctech Solar said that it has realized an operating income of about RMB 3,137 million in 2020, an increase of 37.50% from the previous year. The total profit realized is RMB 335 million, which is again an increase of 76.61% from the previous year. The net profit of the company was registered at around RMB 280 million, a year-on-year increase of 72.52%.
