Henan Hengxing and GCL partner for diamond wire procurement: Henan Hengxing Technology and Suzhou GCL Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd., signed a long-term procurement framework agreement for electroplated diamond wire worth RMB 195 million ($30.25 million). The contract period lasts from March 2021 till February 2023, Henan Hengxing said in an annoucement. Suzhou GCL Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd. is a foreign-funded enterprise wholly-owned by Hong Kong listed company GCL-Poly.
Shuangliang Eco-Energy intends to invest in Baotou production lines: Shuangliang Eco-Energy announced its plans to invest in Baotou Shuangliang Monocrystalline Silicon Technology Co., Ltd. with a registered capital of RMB 900 million ($140 million). The new company will be the main body of investment and operation of GW-class large-size monocrystalline silicon ingots and wafer production lines, and will also carry out large-scale photovoltaic monocrystalline silicon ingots and wafers investment construction and production in Baotou. China Datang Corporation records 45,600 MWh of PV power generation in January 2021: In January 2021, China Datang Corporation Renewable Power completed 2,696,233 MWh of power generation, which is an increase of 76.38% compared to 2020, the company said in an announcement. Its PV power generation output was 45,600 MWh, which is a year-on-year increase of 122.83% compared to 2020.
LONGi partners with SPIC Gansu branch: The Gansu branch of State Power Investment Corporation (SPIC) has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Chinese vertically integrated solar PV company LONGi. With this development, both the parties intend to deepen cooperation and build a comprehensive and in-depth partnership in areas such as industrial planning and economic structural transformation, LONGi said in an announcement.
Shuifa Group and Xinfu District sign 500 MW PV agreement: Shuifa Group has signed a 500 MW photovoltaic and energy storage project investment agreement with the People's Government of Xinfu District in Xinzhou City. The total investment is estimated to be RMB 2 billion ($0.31 billion), Shuifa said in an announcement.
