JinkoSolar’s Tiger Pro Dual Glass Module now DEKRA certified: Module supplier JinkoSolar Holding announced that its flagship Tiger Pro dual glass module has received the IEC TS 62804-1-1:2020 certificate issued by DEKRA. DEKRA’s product certification and testing ensures that the products meet necessary safety and performance standards that are compliant with international regulations, it said. This test evaluated the effect of potential-induced degradation-delamination (PID-d) in the laminate of crystalline silicon PV modules. It also included a DH1000 test associated with damp heat exposure, the test sequence of IEC TS 62804-1:2015, and extended the PID test time to 240 hours. LONGi’s 15 GW cell fab project begins construction: A groundbreaking ceremony was held in Xi’an to mark the beginning of the construction of LONGi’s 15 GW monocrystalline cell production facility, as per a Photovoltaic Network News Report. The project, with an investment of RMB 12.2 billion ($1.91 billion), is all set to become one of the world’s largest single PV cell production base after completion. Guiyang Engineering & Duyun to build agricultural PV Project: The Duyun Municipal Government of Guizhou Province and Guiyang Engineering Corporation of Power China have reached an agreement to invest RMB 700 million ($109.48 million) to build a a 150 MW agricultural PV power generation project in Shabaobao and Yundong, as per a Photovoltaic Network News Report.
