Xiangtan signs PV power generation projects with Shuifa Singyes: BIPV system developer and EPC, Shuifa Singyes Energy (formerly China Singyes Solar Technologies Holdings) has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Xiangtan City, Hunan Province for rural photovoltaic power generation project, it said. Both entities will carry out the construction of photovoltaic projects in Xiangtan City.

Baofeng Modern cast-mono silicon wafers enter production: Mono wafers producer Baofeng Modern announced that its first production facility of cast monocrystalline silicon wafers has successfully entered the commercial production stage. The company will deliver cast-mono wafers in bulk this August to existing clients who have already signed purchase agreements. In another development, Baofeng’s indirect wholly-owned subsidiary – Golden Solar Silicon Science & Technology (Xu Zhou) – has entered into silicon wafer sales agreements with Taoistic Solar Technology (Changzhou) and Panda PV Tech. I will supply them with not less than 100 million single-cast silicon wafers. Taiyi Photovoltaic is a technology company engaged in R&D, production and sales of solar photovoltaic modules, while Panda Photovoltaic was established in 2015 and produces solar modules in its factories in Wuxi and Nantong, China.

Beyondsun’s DuDrive Max series obtains VDE & CGC certification:  PV module manufacturer Zhejiang Beyondsun Green Energy Technology said that its DuDrive Max high-efficiency module series have completed reliability tests conducted by third party testing and certification organizations – VDE Germany and CGC (China General Certification Center) – and have successfully obtained both IEC 61215 and IEC 61730 certifications. This marks a breakthrough for Beyondsun in the field of 182 ultra-high power module reliability, it said.
