Solis ranks high on Wood Mackenzie report: Chinese solar PV inverter manufacturer Ginlong Technologies (Solis) said in an announcement that it has been positioned on the top of Wood Mackenzie’s 2024 Global Solar Photovoltaic Inverter and Module-Level Power Electronics Market Share Report. The company has topped in the household single-phase string inverters category. Trina TOPCon products report stronger anti-attenuation capabilities: Chinese solar module manufacturer Trina Solar said that its Vertex n-type 720 W TOPCon series modules have performed well in the CGC UV 300 test with an extremely low attenuation of 1.6%. The products were exposed to 300 kWh/m² of ultraviolet radiation, and the cumulative radiation was almost 20 times the ultraviolet radiation (UV15) required for product certification. The successful test result showcases the products’ leading level of UV attenuation performance and high reliability, it claims. Meanwhile, at the recently concluded SNEC 2024 event, Trina Solar’s sister companies Trina Solar Evergreen and Trina Storage exhibited their respective colorful building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) module and commercial & industrial (C&I) battery energy storage system (BESS) solutions (see Trina Solar’s Latest BIPV & BESS Solution At SNEC 2024)

Xinjiang Power Grid reviews 53.96 GW new energy projects: Xinjiang Power Grid, in the first half of 2024, has completed the review of new energy projects to the scale of 53.96 GW, a year-on-year increase of 131.63%, official sources said. This is for the first time that the new energy review in the first half of a year has exceeded 50 GW, thus setting a record for the same period. Project review is the last step in the construction of new energy projects, which means the reviewed new energy projects of this year will be completed and commissioned over the next one to two years.
