Zhonghuan to acquire 44.4% of Zhonghuan Applied Materials: Leading mono wafer maker Tianjin Zhonghuan Semiconductor (TZS) said that its subsidiary, Tianjin Huanou Semiconductor Material Technology, will be acquiring a 44.4% stake in Wuxi Zhonghuan Applied Materials, a subsidiary of China Merchants Securities Asset Management, for a sum of RMB 619 million ($94.39 million).

JA Solar's 3.2 GW project put into production: The 3.2 GW high-power module production project of Chinese vertically integrated solar module manufacturer JA Solar in Fengxian has begun operations and produced its first batch of DeepBlue3.0 high-power modules with 182mm large-size silicon wafers. The total investment of this module fab, which, according to JA saw construction start only in September, was at RMB 330 million ($50.3 million).

Tongwei & Guangxi partner for 400 MW PV fishery-Agri PV project: By signing an agreement, polysilicon giant Tongwei and Guangxi administration joined hands for a 400 MW fishery and PV integration project. This development will help realize cross-border integration of two major green agriculture and green energy industries, create high-quality photovoltaic clean energy, and promote traditional extensive farming.

Grace Solar launches new tracking system: After in-depth analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the existing mainstream tracking system, Grace Solar said it has launched a new tracking system – the Grace Solar Linkage Intelligent Tracking System – to meet market demand. R&D Director of Grace Solar, Guirong Han, said that the new tracking system uses astronomical algorithms and position sensing closed-loop control as its control algorithms, and AI to maximize power generation.
