Wanhua & China Huaneng to build 600 MW project: Polyurethanes company Wanhua Chemical and power sources developer China Huaneng Group have launched a joint venture – Huaneng (Haiyang) Photovoltaic New Energy Technology – to develop a fishing and photovoltaic power generation project. With an installed capacity of 600 MW and an annual on-grid power output of 700 million kWh, the project is supposed to reduce coal by 280,000 tons and carbon dioxide emissions by more than 700,000 tons per year, Wanhua announcement said.

Anhui signs contract for new energy project in Sanming: At the 21st China International Fair for Investment and Trade in Xiamen, Sanming Municipal Government and Anhui Conch Group partnered to jointly strengthen hold in new energy projects. And towards this, RMB 306 billion will be invested with special focus on photovoltaic, wind energy and energy storage integration.

AUX launches JV to manufacture PV power products: National-recognized enterprise technology center AUX announced that its wholly-owned subsidiaries are forming a joint-venture company with a registered capital of RMB 150 million ($23.31 million). The subsidiaries and their respective equity interests are as follows: Ningbo Hengmao with 35%; Nanjing Guanlong with 23.6%; Lu Anjun with 20%; Ningbo Aosheng with 9.4%; Ningbo Aotron with 7%, and Zhu Qijun with 5%. The new company will be engaged in the development and production of photovoltaic power products, such as photovoltaic inverters.

Guangdong signs 150 MW agri-PV energy base project: Renewable energy engineering constructor Guangdong No.2 Hydropower Engineering released a statement saying that its wholly-owned subsidiary Southeast Guangdong Hydropower has signed up for a 150 MW agricultural-photovoltaic energy base project with the People’s Government of Luoshan County. The total investment of the project is RMB 600 million ($93.23 million).
