Xinte Energy's Q3/2020 net profit touches RMB 65.92 million: In the first three quarters of 2020, Chinese polysilicon producer Xinte Energy Co., Ltd. has realized a revenue of RMB 5.69 billion ($0.86 billion), sales cost of RMB 4.6 billion ($0.69 billion) and about RMB 65.92 million ($9.96 million) profit attributable to company owners. The total assets of the group as of September 30, 2020 were at RMB 48.294 billion ($7.3 billion). Last year TBEA subsidiary Xinte Energy had signed up to supply 32,000 MT Polysilicon to Wafer Producer Wuhai Jingyuntong New Materials between 2019 & 2021 (see Xinte Energy Gets 32,000 Polysilicon Supply Deal)
Longyuan 50 MW PV project bid winners out: With a unit price of RMB 5.136/W, Energy China Group Northwest Power Construction ranked first among the bidders for China Longyuan's 50 MW agricultural and photovoltaic power generation plant. China Power Construction Shandong ranked second by bidding about RMB 257 million ($41.54 million), which is about RMB 5.14/W ($ 0.78). In another recent development, China Longyuan Power Group had entered into a cooperation framework agreement with the People's Government of Wubao County to develop a 1 GW solar and wind power agrivoltaic project in Shaanxi province (see China PV News Snippets: Longyuan, Lead, Trina Solar).
Risen acquires 100% equity of silicon producer: Chinese solar PV module producer Risen Energy has fully acquired the silicon business of DunAn Photovoltaic through a wholly-owned subsidiary. This means cell and module maker Risen Energy is now fully moving up the value chain, adding silicon production to its portfolio. The company plans to make necessary changes to the original production capacity of 12,000 tons to meet the silicon material quality requirements for N-type silicon wafer production. Meanwhile last month, Risen Energy secured a 1.5 GW bifacial mono PERC solar PV module supply order with an unidentified independent global power producer (see 1.5 GW Bifacial Module Order For Risen Energy).
Canadian Solar wins bid for 128 MW PV module supply: Chinese vertically integrated PV solutions company Canadian Solar won a bid for the delivery of 128 MW PV modules. The deal includes supply of 80 MW high-efficiency monocrystalline silicon photovoltaic module equipment for Laishui County Jiansheng Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd., and 48 MW for Laishui County Jiansheng Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd.
JinkoPower and Guizhou sign 200 MW agreement: China based JinkoPower Technology Co., Ltd. and Pingtang County, Guizhou Province have signed an agreement for a 200 MW PV power plant investment project.
