JA Solar to invest in 41 MW C&I solar projects: Vertically integrated solar manufacturer JA Solar has announced its plan to invest RMB 122.3753 million ($16.97 million) to construct 3 C&I distributed solar PV power projects at its existing facilities. The 11.56 MW Jinghui Park, the 11.68 MW Jingyun Park in Yangzhou City, and the 18 MW Shijiazhuang City facility are the chosen candidates for the expansion.

Earlier this month, JA Solar's DeepBlue 4.0 Pro secured an A+ rating from CGC (see China Solar PV News Snippets).

Leascend signs wafer purchase & HJT cell sale deal with Grand Sunergy: Heterojunction (HJT) cell manufacturer Leascend has announced that its subsidiary, Meishan Leascend, signed framework contracts for the purchase of silicon wafers and the sale of HJT solar cells with the subsidiaries of Grand Sunergy. According to the agreements, Meishan Leascend will purchase 145 million monocrystalline silicon wafers from Anhui Grand Sunergy. After cell processing, Meishan Leascend will sell 700 MW of A-grade G12 HJT solar cell products to another Grand Sunergy subsidiary, Jiangsu Grand Sunergy. These agreements are valued at over RMB 200 million ($27.78 million).

Earlier this month, Leascend was one among a group of 10 leading HJT manufacturers that launched the China Photovoltaic Solar Energy High Efficiency 740W+ Club (see Club For High Efficiency Heterojunction Solar Panels).

Central New Energy FY2023 revenues up 150.3%: Central New Energy has reported revenues of approximately HKD 4.03 billion ($515.2 million) for FY 2023, a year-on-year increase of 150.3%.
