Yongfu Power wins household PV power station order from Huaneng: Integrated service provider of power and energy Yongfu Power has announced that it has won an order for the household photovoltaic power station project of China Huaneng Group Co., Ltd. As part of the deal, worth RMB 778 million ($106.8 million), Yongfu Power will provide Huaneng Group with high-quality, fully assembled household PV power station products with a total capacity of 210 MWp in Quanzhou and Zhangzhou, Fujian Province. This is the second time that Yongfu Co., Ltd. has won an order from a state-owned enterprise. Previously, it had won a RMB 871 million ($119.6 million) household PV power plant bid from the National Energy Investment Group Co., Ltd. in January 2023.
HRD plans to set up Vietnam production base for PV modules, junction boxes: Mobile phone and other electronic connectors manufacturer HRD (HongRiDa Electronics) announced that its board has approved an investment in a production base in Vietnam. The base, with a planned investment of about $34 million, will produce solar PV modules, junction boxes and consumer electronics connectors.
Anhui Gourgen plans PV entry with 70% stake in EliTe Solar: Anhui Gourgen, an entity that has been suspended from trading, has announced its plans to acquire a 70% equity stake in EliTe Solar by way of shares and cash. The company plans to pay 90% of the total consideration through cash and the rest through share purchases. EliTe Solar operates in the field of research and development of PV cells and modules, production and sales. Anhui Gourgen, an engineering and construction company, is using this acquisition to make a foray into the field of PV.
HHI plans to invest in a 200,000-ton PV mounting structure facility: Huadian Heavy Industry (HHI) has announced that it plans to construct the Huadian Inner Mongolia (Bayannur) Dengkou 200,000-ton PV mounting structure facility. It will be located in the Industrial Park of Dengkou County, Bayannur City, Inner Mongolia. The company plans to invest RMB 97.61 million ($13.4 million) into the facility, which will include the construction of a new production plant and 8 mounting structure production lines, installing a BIPV with an installed capacity of 1.13 MWp on the DC side, along with other supporting structures.
Guangdong No.2 Hydropower to set up a 500 MW agricultural, PV and storage integrated project in Tibet: Guangdong No.2 Hydropower Engineering Co., Ltd. has announced that it has signed a tripartite agreement with the Bailang County People's Government of the Tibet Autonomous Region and Bailang Houzang Qiyuan Agricultural Technology Development Co., Ltd. The company plans to invest about RMB 2.5 billion ($343.3 million) in the construction of a 500-megawatt agricultural, PV and storage integrated project in Bailang County, Tibet Autonomous Region.
