

Solex Energy Limited, a Surat-based solar module manufacturer and EPC solutions provider, has listed its stock on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) under code 544862. Solex Energy Chairman and Managing Director Dr. Chetan Shah said the listing would help broaden the company’s investor base and strengthen its presence in the capital markets. Solex said it currently has more than 11,000 shareholders. Currently, it operates a 4 GW solar PV module manufacturing facility in Tadkeshwar, Gujarat. It is now expanding the facility’s manufacturing operations and is focusing on high-efficiency solar modules and newer PV technologies.
Under the company’s Vision 2030 strategy, it targets 10 GW each of solar module and cell manufacturing capacity, 10 GW of BESS infrastructure, and 2 GW of wafer and ingot capacity. In FY2026, Solex Energy increased its revenue by 144% YoY with an order book exceeding INR 34,000 million (see Solex Energy Limited Expands FY2026 Revenue By 144%).
Motilal Oswal Group, the Indian financial services company, has committed to invest INR 1,500 crore in Inox Clean Energy, with INR 1,000 crore already invested, according to an announcement by INOXGFL Group. The investment will support Inox Clean’s next phase of growth, particularly its inorganic expansion. Inox Clean Energy is the integrated renewable energy platform of INOXGFL Group, with businesses spanning renewable power generation and solar manufacturing. Its India renewable IPP portfolio has reached 3 GW, while operational capacity is expected to exceed 6 GW by FY27. The company has a 3 GW operational solar module facility in India, with a 5 GW module and cell facility under development. In the US, it has established a 3 GW module manufacturing facility, with another 3 GW cell facility expected to become operational soon.
This follows a INR 700 crore investment from the Adar Poonawalla Family Office in the company. ACME Solar Holdings has completed a INR 2,147 crore refinancing to redeem non-convertible debentures issued by 12 operational solar project special purpose vehicles (SPVs) with a combined capacity of 450 MW. The refinancing also enabled the company to fully redeem its underlying offshore dollar bonds. It secured long-term refinancing from the National Bank for Financing Infrastructure and Development (NaBFID). The integrated renewable energy company said it is expected to reduce borrowing costs across the SPVs by about 150 basis points. The latest transaction takes ACME Solar’s total financing raised during the current fiscal to INR 8,198 crore. The company has a portfolio of 8.07 GW across solar, wind, storage, firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE), and hybrid projects. It also claims 2.99 GW of operational contracted capacity and about 3.62 GWh of BESS capacity.
The Hinduja Group, a diversified Indian conglomerate, has pledged INR 2,500 crore in new investments in Tamil Nadu under a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed with the state’s investment promotion agency at the Vetri Tamil Nadu Investment Conclave 2026. Renewables will account for the bulk of the investment, with Hinduja Renewables Energy planning more than 200 MW of solar, wind and battery storage projects. The company is seeking land and grid connectivity in Tirunelveli, Thoothukudi, Virudhunagar, Madurai, and Coimbatore, according to local media reports.
Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited (Waaree RTL), a subsidiary of Waaree Energies, has secured EPC orders totaling 334 MW DC/238 MW AC for ground-mounted solar projects. The company received a 124 MW DC/88 MW AC Letter of Award (LoA) for the project scheduled for completion in FY2026-27. Waaree RTL also signed a turnkey EPC contract with Solaris Horizon Energy for a 210 MW DC/150 MW AC grid-connected solar project, along with two years of operations and maintenance services. The project is scheduled for completion in FY2027-28. Solaris Horizon Energy is a step-down subsidiary of Waaree Energies, making the contract a related-party transaction.
