  • Qcells Q.TRON-G2 (+) module and Q.PEAK DUO M-G11S (+) series offer high efficiencies of over 21% and 22% respectively, ideal for rooftop PV applications.
  • Q.HOME CORE A4/H4 battery+inverter and Q.HOME+ ESS HYB-G3 energy storage solutions offer flexibility and scalability, with the latter capable of scaling up to 12 kWh of storage and enabling both on- and off-grid use.
  • Qcells’ Distributed Energy Solutions (DES) division introduces a variety of financial packages, including ‘buy now pay later’ (BNPL) options.

Qcells, a leading provider of solar energy solutions, during Intersolar 2023 presented its latest products and solutions, including its latest Q.TRON-G2 (+) module, the Q.HOME CORE A4/H4 battery+inverter and the Q.HOME+ ESS HYB-G3 energy storage solutions. In addition, the company had its new EV-charger, the Q.HOME EDRIVE A, on display. Qcells also elaborated on its interesting financial models.

As to its modules, its Q.TRON-G2 (+) is based on Q.ANTUM NEO TOPCon solar cells. With an efficiency of 22%, the module is ideal for rooftop PV applications. Qcells also exhibited the Q.PEAK DUO M-G11S (+) module series, which has an efficiency of over 21% and is made with larger M10 (182 mm) wafers.

Q.HOME CORE A4/H4 battery+inverter and Q.HOME+ ESS HYB-G3 are its flexible energy storage solutions, the latter of which can be scaled up to 12 kWh of storage and is an ideal solution for households of all sizes. Q.HOME+ ESS HYB-G3 includes the Q-VOLT HYB-G3 3-phase inverter, which enables on- and off-grid use and smart optimized yield. The company’s breadth of offerings also includes the Q.OMMAND app, which allows users to monitor and manage solar power, providing full control on energy consumption.

Through its Distributed Energy Solutions (DES) division, Qcells is offering a variety of financial packages designed to make solar energy more affordable for businesses and homeowners. The solution ranges from ‘buy now pay later’ (BNPL) to solar contracting and leasing packages. The BNPL financing solution, for example, allows customers to install a solar system without bearing the costs upfront, and it covers the rooftop solar array along with storage and smart monitoring.

Qcells also highlighted its latest joint venture with Samsung, which brings together Samsung’s heatpump technology and SmartThings Energy with Qcells’ residential hardware package. This collaboration allows customers to take greater control of their energy consumption.
