  • It wants selected bidder to carry out geotechnical investigation on site in Shajapur district
  • It will develop this capacity in the form of 105 MW and 220 MW at Shajapur Solar Park

A subsidiary of Indian utility NTPC Ltd., NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC RE) is soliciting applications from consulting firms interested in carrying out geotechnical investigation for 325 MW solar PV capacity at Shajapur Solar Park in Madhya Pradesh.

The investigation needs to be carried out for 105 MW (U6) and 220 MW (U7) Shajapur solar PV projects of NTPC RE in Shajapur district. The tenderer intends to finance the subject package through own resources.

NTPC has already secured power purchase agreements (PPA) for this capacity with the Indian Railways, Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company Limited (MPPMCL) and Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Limited (RUMSL), after winning it in a July 2021 auction (see 325 MW Solar PPA For NTPC’s RE Arm).

Launched on December 15, 2021, last date to submit bids is December 24, 2021. Details are available on NTPC’s e-procurement website with tender ID 2021_NTPCR_57741_1.
