Germany's 3D-Micromac AG has expanded its leadership team with the appointment of Hartmut Schubert to the position of chief technology officer (CTO). With this, the company's CEO Uwe Wagner explained, 'we have completed our management team'.
It follows the selection of Marko Gerlach as the company's chief financial officer (CFO) in December 2021 after 3D-Micromac's Founder Tino Petsch sold the business to US investors to be headed by then CTO Wagner (see New CFO Announced For 3D-Micromac AG).
Schubert joins the German laser micromachining and roll-to-roll laser processing systems specialist from optical, tactile and multi-sensor measurement company, Dr. Heinrich Schneider Messtechnik GmbH where he held various technical and managerial positions.
Prior to that, he worked for electronics manufacturing firm VITRONIC Dr.-Ing. Stein Bildverarbeitungssysteme GmbH.
At 3D-Micromac, Schubert is responsible for strategic management of the company's technology division. "We look forward to further strengthening our innovative power together with him and advancing 3D-Micromac technologically in the future," added Wagner.
