American renewable energy company Ameresco, Inc. has expanded its solar power team with the addition of Jonathan M. Mancini as its senior vice president of solar project development for the eastern region in the US. Mancini has joined the company with effect from June 8, 2020.

In his new role, Mancini will be responsible to develop the company’s renewables growth strategy in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and Southeast US. He will be expected to lead Ameresco team to develop solar projects and solar with battery energy storage projects in the US market.

Mancini joins the company from US community solar developer BlueWave Solar where he was working as the senior vice president of project development. He also co-founded the Renewable Resources division at the Bridgewell Resources, LLC and worked as its head of solar projects.
