Cleantech Solar Announces New Leadership Appointments

  • Cleantech Solar has announced the appointment of Ritesh Singhi as the vice president and country manager for India 
  • Mukesh Kumar is another new hire as the new vice president of Finance and Investments 
  • Both the new hires have previously worked with AmpIn Energy Transition 

Shell Singapore backed renewable energy supplier for corporates Cleantech Solar has brought on board new senior leadership hires. While Ritesh Singhi has been announced as the vice president and country manager for India, Mukesh Kumar is on board as the new vice president of Finance and Investments. 

Till recently, Singhi was the COO for the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) segment at AmpIn Energy Transition. He previously also worked as the chief procurement officer for CleanMax. 

Engie India Head of Acquisitions, Investments and Financial Advisory (AIFA) before joining Cleantech, Kumar has also worked with AmpIn Energy Transition and Sembcorp Green Infra in the past. 

"We are delighted to welcome Mukesh Kumar to Cleantech Solar. His extensive experience and financial acumen will significantly reinforce our long-term growth strategies in India and Southeast Asia," said Cleantech CEO Sachin Jain. 

Cleantech has announced these new appointments as it expands its commercial & industrial (C&I) portfolio in solar, wind and hybrid solutions in various Southeast Asian markets of India, Singapore, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam. It is also working on providing Central Transmission Utility (CTU) and virtual power purchase agreement (VPPA) solutions. 

Earlier this month, Cleantech secured a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA) with First Solar to power its 3.3 GW solar module fab in Tamil Nadu (see First Solar Announces RE Procurement Pact In India).
