Solar PV microinverter manufacturer Enphase Energy, Inc., has brought in an ex-Tesla executive as its Vice President & Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The US company announced the appointment of Eric Branderiz on June 4, 2018 when his appointment came into force.

Branderiz was till recently vice president, corporate controller and chief accounting officer at Tesla Inc., where he was responsible for global financial accounting, external reporting and finance operations. He quit Tesla in March 2018 citing personal reasons. Before joining Tesla, Branderiz was with SunPower Corporation as senior vice president, corporate controller and chief accounting officer.

Branderiz will replace Bert Garica who put in his papers in May 2018 (see Enphase Reaches Higher End Of Q1/18 Sales Guidance). Garica will stay on till June 30, 2018 to help through the transition period.
