  • His appointment comes as HoloSolis prepares for industrial rollout and secures support from the EU Innovation Fund

HoloSolis, the French solar PV manufacturing startup, has announced the appointment of Henri Poupart-Lafarge as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Poupart-Lafarge worked with the Spanish transport company Alstom until now. In his 30-year journey with Alstom, he led the company as CEO for the last 10 years. He replaces Bertrand Lecacheux, who has joined CAP INGELEC as its Deputy CEO Business.

He joins HoloSolis as it prepares to roll out its solar PV production site in Hambach, in the Département de la Moselle. Poupart-Lafarge said this factory will relaunch the solar PV supply chain in Europe.

HoloSolis is developing a 5 GW solar cell and module integrated manufacturing factory in France. The company claims this capacity is equivalent to rolling out 10 million solar panels annually.

HoloSolis was recently selected by the European Commission for the latest round of the EU Innovation Fund (see EU Innovation Fund Backs HoloSolis’ 5 GW Solar Factory).
