Global research and market intelligence firm Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BloombergNEF) has a new Head of Solar in Lara Hayim as the previous incumbent and a very well-respected name in the solar industry, Jenny Chase moves to a specialist role within the organization.

Chase said she was swapping a management role at the firm for a specialist role which will require her to write and edit more.

She announced the move on her Twitter handle where she is extremely active sharing her frank views and insights on solar industry, technology, while also engaging followers into meaningful dialogue for the present and future of the industry. The role change should let her engage in more solar conversations.

Chase has been part of the BloombergNEF team for over 17 years now, having joined in June 2005. She has been leading its solar sector reports, primarily the much-awaited quarterly report on PV Market Outlook that provides an insight into the solar industry market trends, demand and supply situation, investment activity, cost projections, and the like.

Replacing her is Lara Hayim who has now been working with the think tank since February 2016. Hayim joined her present employer after having worked as an Energy Officer with one of UK's housing associations Circle Housing Group. Before that she worked as a consultant with energy management and consulting firm Verco. Chase said she will now work with/for Hayim.
