Jenya Meydbray, renowned in the solar industry for starting and running leading performance and reliability testing company PV Evolution Lab (PVEL), has now switched over to US based solar tracker manufacturer Nevados Engineering, Inc as chief commercial officer (CCO).
Nevados is known for its All Terrain Tracker (ATT) solution that 'cost-effectively' fits natural flat, sloped and rolling terrain, eliminating the need to go for grading and increasing available land for tracker development. Here, Meydbray will lead all commercial activities for the company to grow its client base, stated the management.
"I'm excited to join a fantastic team and accelerate solar that follows the natural landscape. It's high time for #NoMoreGrading in utility-scale solar," said Meydbray while announcing the professional development on his LinkedIn account.
According to his bio, Meydbray had been providing board and advisory roles to a host of companies since November 2015, including Nevados. Before PVEL, he also worked with Cypress Creek Renewables, DNV GL, and SunPower Corporation in various roles.
He co-founded PVEL in 2010, which was later sold to Norway's global quality assurance and risk management company DNV and the transferred back to PVEL's management in 2019. PVEL became part of Dutch testing, inspection and certification firm Kiwa Group in May 2021 (see PV Evolution Labs Joins Netherlands Based Kiwa Group). Two months ago, Meydbray announced on LinkedIn, "I'd like to announce that I'm stepping away from my day-to-day role at PVEL but I will continue to help strategically steer the ship from the Board. This is the culmination of an ongoing transition following Kevin Gibson's arrival at PVEL and the company becoming a member of the Kiwa Group. Kevin will be taking over as Managing Director with an amazing team."
