- John Susa has announced re-joining Trina Solar after a gap of 9 years, in a new role
- He will be heading the China headquartered company’s Large-Scale Project Development for Eastern Europe
- Susa said he will be responsible to build strong project portfolio for the company in the region
Solar energy industry veteran John Susa has switched back to Trina Solar, where he worked for 6 years (2007 to 2013), in a new role as the head of Large-Scale Project Development for Eastern Europe leaving German solar trackers supplier Ideematec.
Susa moved to Ideematec as chief sales officer in May 2021 after working with German solar PV inverter manufacturer SMA Solar Technology for over 7 years in various executive sales roles (see Ideematec Gets John Susa As Chief Sales Officer).
Announcing the development on LinkedIn, Susa said he now has a deep 360º understanding of all key PV system components, right from modules to inverters and trackers. Now, he will work in the project development domain at Trina Solar.
“I’m very happy to have the opportunity to return to Trina Solar in a different function and area of the organization,” stated Susa. “I’m looking forward to building a strong project portfolio for Trina Solar in Eastern Europe, applying my experience and leveraging my industry contacts to support a shared vision of even stronger business growth and expansion in Europe.”
