GOLDBECK SOLAR, the German solar PV projects developer, has announced the appointment of Matthias Tischner as the company’s new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
According to Tischner’s LinkedIn profile, he has spent more than 15 years at Germany-based solar EPC company BELECTRIC GmbH. Tischner joined BELECTRIC as a Fixed Asset Accountant in July 2011 and rose through the ranks to become Senior Director Finance before leaving the company in October 2023.
“With extensive experience in the solar and EPC industry, he brings exactly the expertise an internationally growing company needs: strategic thinking, efficient processes, digital solutions, and a strong focus on collaboration,” stated the company management while welcoming Tischner to the group.
Founded in 2001, GOLDBECK SOLAR has an installed power capacity of 5 GW and has a 3 GW operations and maintenance (O&M) portfolio. Earlier this year, GOLDBECK SOLAR won The smarter E AWARD in the Photovoltaics category for its application HeliomatiX—Construction Automation for Utility-Scale Solar Parks (see GOLDBECK SOLAR's HeliomatiX Automates Utility-Scale Solar Installation).
It is now expanding into integrated energy solutions by acquiring key activities and expertise from Koco Energy. This acquisition expands its expertise into PV façades and solar carports (see Europe Solar PV News Snippets).
