UK headquartered solar and storage projects developer and EPC company Anesco has announced Hildagarde McCarville as the company's new CEO who joins the company from Veolia Environment and takes over the reins from previous incumbent Mark Futyan.
She moves to Anesco with 15 years of experience in the European energy and utility sector. Having served as the CEO of Veolia Nederland for 8 years, McCarville previously also served as the managing director of an EDF Group subsidiary Dalkia.
"Recent global events only reinforce the urgent need to decarbonize further and to accelerate the transition towards decentralized renewable energy and storage solutions," said McCarville. "I look forward to working closely with the management team to capitalize on growth opportunities in both new and existing markets."
Under Futyan's leadership, the company expanded into the markets of the Netherlands, Germany and Denmark. He will continue to be associated with the company as its non-executive director. Futyan welcomed McCarville stating, "With her experience and drive, Hildagarde will be an asset in leading the company as it embarks on the next stage of its development."
