US based solar developer 8minute Solar Energy has announced the appointment of Rahul Mathur as the company's new CFO, who comes with more than 2 decades of professional experience.
Till recently, Mathur worked as the CFO of semiconductor producer Rambus for 5 years. Before that, he worked with Cypress Semiconductor as SVP of Finance.
At 8minute, he will be responsible for overall financial direction of the company, and oversee the financial planning & analysis, project finance, tax, accounting, investor relations, and growth & new markets teams.

Mathur's appointment follows the promotion of Stephanie Perry to the company's COO in July 2021, from SVP of Engineering & Transactions.
8minute says it has more than 18 GW solar and 24 GWh of energy storage projects under development currently, having already deployed 2 GW solar projects in operation.
