Solar panel manufacturer from Australia, Tindo Solar has announced the appointment of Richard Petterson to take over as the company's new CEO who takes over from Shayne Jaenisch who served in the position since March 2017. His departure was announced by the company in October 2022.

At Tindo Solar, Petterson will lead a team of 50 at its $11 million panel production fab located at Mawson Lakes in South Australia. Tindo Solar, as Australia's only local solar module maker, rolls out high efficiency M10 based 550W utility scale and 410W rooftop panels.

Petterson comes to Tindo Solar from the water utility sector where he worked in various senior leadership positions in both public and private firms, including Queensland Urban Utilities and TRILITY. He also worked with AdelaideAqua where he led as the chairman to oversee the operation of Adelaide Desalination Plant.

"My background in water utilities has taught me that natural resources can be responsibly used for the benefit of communities, and that the needs of people must be balanced with a sustainable natural environment," said Petterson.
