India’s Suzlon Group, a wind turbine manufacturer that has now ventured into solar as well as battery energy storage system (BESS) segments, has announced the appointment of Ashok Ramachandran as the new President, India Business and Senior Managerial Personnel.

“To lead the India business of a multi billion-dollar renewable energy and India’s No 1 Wind Turbine Manufacturer like Suzlon, at a time when India’s energy transition is accelerating rapidly, is a tremendous responsibility and privilege,” said Ramachandran in a LinkedIn post. “I look forward to strengthening Suzlon's market leadership through sharper execution, operational excellence, deeper customer focus, and scalable growth strategies.”
