Semi CFO Makes Switch To Solar

• SunPower has announced the appointment of Elizabeth Eby as the company's new CFO
• She leaves NeoPhotonics to join the US solar company from May 30, 2023
• Eby previously also worked with the Intel Corporation in various leadership positions for over 25 years

SunPower Corporation is building a new senior leadership team as the company has found a new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Elizabeth 'Beth' Eby to join the company from May 30, 2023.

As the CFO of the US residential solar power company, Eby will play a critical role in developing and implementing the company's strategic growth plan and in leading SunPower's finance organization and activities, the management stated.

Till recently, she served as the CFO of optoelectronics producer NeoPhotonics Corporation. A Master of Science in Industrial Administration from Carnegie Mellon University, Eby was with semiconductor giant Intel Corporation for over 25 years where she worked in various senior leadership positions.

"Beth brings deep experience in financial operations backed by a strong track record of driving profitability and delivering value creation at best-in-class organizations," said SunPower CEO Peter Faricy. "I am confident that her leadership will be an asset as we continue to scale our business and increase SunPower's market share during this period of high growth for the solar industry."

She will take over from current interim CFO Guthrie Dundas who has been in charge since mid-September 2022 after company's EVP and CFO Manavendra Sial decided to move to Fluence Energy (see SunPower CFO Manavendra Sial Enters Exit Mode).

Eby's appointment follows another very recent senior leadership addition. In early May, Jennifer Johnston was announced as the company's new EVP and COO (see SunPower Appoints New Chief Operating Officer).
