Philipp Koecke, for 15 years the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of what was once the leading German solar module producer Solarworld, has now moved on to a related industry within the renewable energy space. He has joined battery storage company Tesvolt GmbH in the same position.
At Solarworld, Koecke led the finance department and was also the member of the Board of Directors at the company's US subsidiaries. After leaving Solarworld, he worked for 4 years for a technology firm. He will start with Tesvolt from the beginning of May 2022.
"Our company is undergoing a period of rapid growth, both in Germany and abroad. We are accordingly very happy to have gained in Philipp Koecke a CFO who has already closely supported growth in other companies," said Co-Founder and Managing Director at Tesvolt, Daniel Hannemann. "At the same time, Philipp knows the market of our key business areas very well. We're very much looking forward to the collaboration."
Headquartered in Germany, Tesvolt manufactures lithium storage systems for commerce and industry, with the commercial battery storage systems manufactured at its Wittenberg site in Germany which it calls Europe's 1st Gigafactory for these products. Tesvolt purchases the battery cells and manufacturers the storage systems.
