US based solar power and roofing systems company, Solar Integrated Roofing Corp (SIRC) has got itself George B Holmes as new chief executive officer (CEO) who has replaced David Massey from the position with immediate effect.
Holmes has switched to SIRC from radio frequency filter solutions provider for the mobile industry Resonant Inc., where he was the chairman and CEO. He also has experience of working in the solar industry as he was previously associated with solar microinverter company SolarBridge Technologies which was later acquired by SunPower Corporation.
He also joined solar optimizer company Tigo Energy as its chief commercial officer (CCO) in 2015. Working for over 35 years, Holmes also served in senior positions at Energous, Agere Systems, Ortel Corp, Level One Communications and Symmetricom.
"As we leverage the recent transition to a fully reporting company, my first priority is to build an executive team and recruit a board of directors with the necessary skills to improve our internal controls and reporting functions, while continuing to drive operational execution and revenue growth that is intended to lead to a successful Nasdaq uplisting in 2023," said Holmes who is also now the co-chairman of the company board.
Massey too will continue to serve as the co-chairman of the board through SIRC's planned uplist to NASDAQ, stated the Nevada headquartered company that caters to commercial and residential properties.
Holmes' appointment follows the appointment of Stefan Abbruzzese as SIRC's president in October 2022.
