France headquartered global renewable energy firm Voltalia has made some changes to its senior management team by bringing in a new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) as Sylvine Bouan who takes over from Marie-Odile Lavenant who gets a new role within the company.
Bouan has experience of finance in a number of industries and brands. She has worked in auditing at KPMG in France, Romania and Russia. She also worked with Auchan Supermarkets in Russia, and later became the corporate finance director of Auchan Retail International, and then finance and asset director of Auchan France.
Lavenant is now the group's director of Internal Audit and director on the boards of several of Voltalia's subsidiaries, starting with Helexia and Greensolver.
Voltalia CEO Sébastien Clerc welcomed Bouan to the group and added, "On behalf of all the teams, I would like to warmly thank Marie-Odile for her commitment as CFO and for her work on numerous structuring projects in a context of very strong growth: since her appointment in 2016, Voltalia's revenues have increased threefold. Marie-Odile's experience will be particularly useful in her new functions, especially in supporting the growth of our main subsidiaries."
The French company counts its operational and under construction power generation capacity as over 2 GW, and a portfolio of 11.1 GW projects under development, comprising wind, solar, hydraulic, biomass and storage facilities.
