Astronergy is proud to announce another successful project in its portfolio. This time, the Duitama Transport Terminal, located in Boyacá, Colombia, has received modules from the Chinese manufacturer in an installation carried out by its client Solares y Suministros.

The project includes 390 Astro N5 580W modules, reaching a total installed capacity of 226 kWp. The installation was completed and connected to the grid in July of this year, and it will supply about 90% of the terminal’s daily energy consumption. In addition, it represents the largest solar capacity installed in transport terminals across the country.

With an estimated annual generation of 252,000 kWh, the system will significantly reduce the terminal’s dependence on the traditional electricity grid, ensuring cost savings and greater energy efficiency. Furthermore, the initiative will avoid approximately 81.4 tons of CO₂ emissions per year, directly contributing to the fight against climate change.

“This is the largest rooftop project in the region and will be highly relevant for the population of Boyacá, both in terms of savings and environmental benefits. We are very pleased to be part of this pioneering initiative,” said Sebastian Mora, Sales Manager at Astronergy.

The partnership has already lasted for nearly two years and reinforces the commitment of both companies to support the energy transition in Latin America, building a greener, zero-carbon world.
