Jilin, China, 18 December, 2025 — The world's largest green hydrogen-ammonia-methanol facility, the "Qingqing No. 1" project, entered operation, with its first phase commissioned and second phase launched. As the core supplier, Sungrow Hydrogen brought its hydrogen production system online ahead of schedule, delivering high-purity hydrogen with stable and reliable operation.
The project is planned for phased development, targeting 3 million kilowatts of renewable energy generation capacity and an annual production of 800,000 tons of green synthetic ammonia and methanol. This approach enables the local consumption of green power and its conversion into high-value-added products. Meanwhile, the Qingqing No. 1 project has set four world records: the largest overall project scale, the largest hydrogen storage capacity, the widest load-flexible process range, and the largest deployment of alkaline water electrolysis hydrogen production equipment.
As the core supplier, Sungrow Hydrogen's flexible green hydrogen production system effectively addresses renewable energy fluctuations and enhances system efficiency. Verified under complex operating conditions, the system operates stably and reliably, providing robust support for the standardization and scaling of hydrogen equipment while contributing practical solutions to the global green hydrogen industry.
