On March 27, the SCC Sustainability and ESG Summit Forum hosted by SEMI officially opened in Shanghai. The event brought together experts, leading companies, and institutional representatives from the semiconductor and renewable energy sectors to explore pathways toward low-carbon development and to chart a forward-looking roadmap for green industry growth under ESG principles.

DAS Solar was represented by its CTO, Dr. Dengyuan Song, who also serves as Chairman of the SEMI China Photovoltaic Standards Technical Committee. Dr. Song delivered a keynote speech titled "DAS Solar's ESG Practices and the Value Realization of Green Photovoltaic Power", offering an in-depth overview of the company's benchmark initiatives across zero-carbon manufacturing, green production, circular economy, technological innovation, and ESG governance. His insights received strong recognition from the audience.

In his presentation, Dr. Song emphasized that DAS Solar is guided by its DASGREEN development philosophy, under which the company has established a comprehensive low-carbon operational framework spanning the entire supply chain, full production processes, and product lifecycle. This framework systematically advances green manufacturing, carbon footprint management, and the development of photovoltaic module recycling and circular utilization systems.

To date, the company's Quzhou headquarters and key manufacturing bases have completed carbon verification by TÜV SÜD and obtained ISO 14064 greenhouse gas verification statements. Both the Quzhou headquarters and the Jingshan manufacturing base have also been recognized as national-level green factories, demonstrating scalable and standardized zero-carbon practices that position DAS Solar at the forefront of global photovoltaic manufacturing.

DAS Solar has also achieved breakthroughs in module recycling technologies. Through a proprietary physical dismantling process, the company has developed an industry-leading photovoltaic recycling production line, supporting a closed-loop green ecosystem. Its eco-designed modules enable 100% material recyclability, while reducing product carbon footprint by 17.3% compared to conventional modules. In parallel, DAS Solar has played a leading role in compiling the China Photovoltaic Recycling and Circular Economy White Paper.

These achievements have been widely recognized. The company has received multiple prestigious accolades, including national-level Green Factory certification, and inclusion in Bloomberg Green ESG 50 Companies to Watch list. Its sustainability performance has also been elevated to a Platinum rating by EcoVadis, placing DAS Solar among the top 1% of companies globally and setting a new benchmark for ESG excellence in the PV industry.

Technological innovation remains the core engine of high-quality development and a critical enabler for delivering ESG value. DAS Solar continues to prioritize technology leadership and efficiency gains, advancing its N-type TOPCon technology through multiple generations—from 1.0 to 5.0 Plus—with cell efficiency surpassing 27% and several key performance indicators reaching industry-leading levels.

Building on its leadership in TOPCon, DAS Solar is also advancing next-generation technologies such as DBC, TSiP, and SFOS, forming its "One Core, Three Branches" mid- to long-term technology strategy, with a clear roadmap toward 40% cell efficiency. The company continues to strengthen industry-academia collaboration, partnering with leading institutions such as the University of New South Wales, Zhejiang University, and Xiamen University to accelerate the commercialization of research outcomes.

Among these innovations, DBC technology has advanced to the 3.0 Plus stage. Verified by CPVT, DBC cells have achieved a conversion efficiency of up to 27.77%, placing the technology firmly in the industry's top tier. By the end of 2025, DAS Solar had filed more than 1,500 patents, with over 790 granted, and has led or participated in the development of more than 140 global and national standards, covering the entire photovoltaic value chain from materials and cells to module packaging and system solutions.

Leveraging its strong R&D capabilities, DAS Solar has also introduced three integrated PV system portfolio of DAS ECO, DAS Urban and DAS Floating solutions, designed to support diverse applications such as desert restoration, agri-PV, urban infrastructure, and marine aquaculture. These innovations continue to expand the boundaries of PV deployment and enable a more diversified, low-carbon energy ecosystem.

Looking ahead, DAS Solar will remain committed to ESG-driven development and green transformation, further integrating zero-carbon manufacturing, circular economy practices, and high-efficiency photovoltaic technologies. By working closely with global industry partners, the company aims to accelerate the transition of both the renewable energy and semiconductor industries toward greater efficiency, lower carbon intensity, and long-term sustainability, contributing to global climate goals and high-quality green development.
