DMEGC Solar took part in Intersolar Mexico 2025, held from September 2 to 4 at Centro Banamex in Mexico City, consolidating its role in the Latin American market and reinforcing its commitment to the expansion of solar energy in the region.
Intersolar Mexico is one of the country’s main gathering points for the solar industry, bringing together international manufacturers, distributors, and sector professionals. The event, held alongside The GREEN Expo and Aquatech Mexico, brought together renewable and cleantech experts from across the region. In 2025, the exhibition featured more than 400 exhibitors and attracted around 10,000 visitors from over 35 countries.
The event came at a strategic moment for Mexico. The Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) recently announced an investment of USD 8.177 billion to expand the country’s transmission grid, a move set to accelerate the energy transition. In addition, Mexico aims to add between 13.6 GW and 16.7 GW of renewable capacity by 2030, consolidating itself as one of the most promising solar markets in Latin America.
Just one week after participating in Intersolar South America in São Paulo, DMEGC Solar arrived in Mexico City to showcase its portfolio of innovations in photovoltaic modules. The company highlighted cutting-edge technologies and highly reliable solutions, leveraging favorable renewable energy policies and positioning itself strategically in one of the region’s fastest-growing markets.
In recent years, DMEGC Solar has expanded its presence in Latin America through solid partnerships in Brazil, in addition to its first commercial operation in Colombia, scheduled to advance later in 2025.
Danilo Borrigueiro, LATAM Commercial Director at DMEGC Solar, emphasized the event’s strategic importance “Our participation here reflects a macro vision of the LATAM market. We are closely monitoring trends and want to be present wherever clean energy gains strength and scale in the region.”
Candice He, LATAM Executive Director at DMEGC Solar, highlighted the company’s global commitment: “DMEGC, at a global level, is strategically investing in this market, which we believe will be one of the most promising in the coming years. Mexico is positioning itself as a leader in the Latin American energy transition, and we want to grow alongside this momentum.”
Johnny Santos, LATAM Marketing Manager at DMEGC Solar, stressed the brand-building efforts in the region: “Our goal is for DMEGC to be as widely recognized in Mexico as it already is in Brazil, Colombia, and across the globe. We are investing in communication, event presence, and closer relationships with our partners to strengthen the brand as a synonym for quality and trust.”
DMEGC Solar’s presence at Intersolar Mexico 2025 reinforces the company’s global positioning as one of the most reliable manufacturers in the photovoltaic sector, while underscoring its active role in strengthening the Latin American market.
With cutting-edge technology, a strong commitment to quality, and strategies focused on sustainable growth, DMEGC Solar continues to expand its presence and help shape the future of clean energy in Mexico and across the region.
