Global leading energy storage company, JinkoESS, a subsidiary corporation of Jinko Solar Co., Ltd., is proud to power a newly commissioned 3.8 MWh utility-scale energy storage system in Hungary. Delivered in partnership with SolarToday, the project features our advanced battery technology, Jinko ESS Utility Scale.
Designed as an integrated solution, the project combines Jinko ESS batteries, the iNOVAT MV Skid, and the PowerKonnekt Energy Management System (EMS), delivering next-generation grid support and flexibility. The system will play a key role in enhancing grid stability as Hungary continues to expand its renewable energy capacity.
“This project is a key milestone for Jinko ESS,” said Lorenzo Paumgardhen, Sales Manager for Europe at Jinko ESS. “It’s not only our first deployment in Hungary but also our first collaboration with SolarToday. The speed and quality of execution have been impressive, and it sets a strong foundation for future cooperation.”
Field work on the site began on May 26th, with Jinko ESS actively supporting on-site system integration, safety verification, and performance validation. The project progressed rapidly thanks to effective coordination between Jinko ESS, SolarToday, and key collaborators.
“Successfully deploying a system like this in Hungary demonstrates our readiness to scale our presence in Europe,” Paumgardhen added. “We’re proud of what we’ve achieved here, and we see it as the beginning of something much bigger.”
Jinko ESS, recently recognized as a Tier 1 energy storage provider for the fifth consecutive quarter, is one of the few global companies to achieve Tier 1 status in both PV module and energy storage categories. This recognition underscores the company’s commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable solutions that enable solar-storage synergy on a global scale.
With this project now commissioned, Jinko ESS further cements its role as a trusted technology provider and project partner in Europe’s fast-evolving energy landscape.
