Recently, Jinko ESS, a global leading energy storage solution provider and a subsidiary of Jinko Solar Co., Ltd., has delivered and deployed 9 SunGiga G2 261kWh C&I energy storage systems at Changzhou Enterprise Port in Jiangsu Province, with a total capacity of 2.35MWh. Designed to meet the daily energy needs of businesses within the industrial park, the project charges the storage systems during low-tariff periods and discharges during high-tariff periods to enable peak-valley electricity price arbitrage. The systems are also connected to the owner's cloud platform for remote monitoring and management of operational data, supporting more cost-efficient energy management for businesses in the park.
Businesses in industrial parks typically have continuous operations and diverse electricity demands, placing comprehensive requirements on the efficiency, long-term stability, and ease of operation and maintenance of energy storage systems. The SunGiga G2 261kWh combines efficient energy conversion, precise thermal management, and intelligent O&M capabilities to support sustained peak-valley arbitrage.
With a maximum PCS conversion efficiency of ≥98.5%, the system helps minimize energy losses during charging and discharging and improve the effective utilization of stored energy under time-of-use tariffs.
Meanwhile, its intelligent liquid-cooling system maintains a cell temperature difference within 2℃, helping maintain cell consistency and supporting stable long-term cycling.
In addition, the SunGiga G2 261kWh integrates the BMS, EMS, and PCS into a unified architecture and supports connection to cloud-based operation platforms, enabling remote monitoring and data management and allowing owners to track system performance more conveniently.
“For industrial parks, the value of energy storage lies not only in leveraging peak-valley electricity price differences to reduce energy costs, but also in consistently realizing that value through stable and efficient long-term operation,” said Damon Duan, General Manager of Jinko ESS China. “As C&I energy storage continues to scale, digital operation will also become increasingly important for improving the utilization and operational value of storage assets. Jinko ESS will continue to advance the integration of energy storage systems with digital energy management platforms, enabling operational data to better support energy decisions and asset management.”
