Recently, Jinko ESS, a leading global energy storage company and a subsidiary of JinkoSolar Co., Ltd, has successfully completed the commissioning of another major commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage project in Australia. As the largest single site among the customer's multi-site energy storage portfolio, this delivery once again demonstrates Jinko ESS's project implementation capability in the Australian market.

Purpose-built for C&I applications, the SunGiga system delivers outstanding energy efficiency and a long cycle life. Its intelligent liquid-cooling technology keeps cell temperature variance within 2°C, ensuring the battery consistently operates at its optimal state, while a highly integrated design boosts energy density and reduces footprint — ideal for sites with limited space. This particular project was deployed at an Australian aged-care facility, precisely addressing the customer's needs for stable power supply, energy cost optimization, and improved returns. By integrating with the site's energy management system, Jinko ESS enabled fully automated, round-the-clock energy optimization — including peak shaving, load management, and energy arbitrage — layered with market mechanisms such as FCAS (Frequency Control Ancillary Services), helping the customer not only cut electricity costs but also unlock a genuine new revenue stream.

The customer currently operates multiple storage sites across Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. This coordinated multi-site deployment, built around a VPP (virtual power plant) model, gives the customer a more complete framework for energy management, electricity trading, and grid services — continuously enhancing overall operational efficiency and revenue potential.

Throughout the commissioning process, Jinko ESS's local technical and service team in Australia provided end-to-end support, covering onsite deployment, system commissioning, and operational assistance. From early-stage coordination through final delivery, the local team maintained rapid response and close collaboration, successfully completing the project even under challenging weather and site conditions. This fully reflects Jinko ESS's localized service capability, its commitment to customers, and its mature track record executing overseas projects.

Bright Wang, General Manager of Jinko ESS APAC, commented: "Jinko ESS always puts customer needs at the center of our strategy. Through advanced energy storage solutions and localized service capabilities, we are committed to providing customers with safer, more efficient, and more reliable energy support. Moving forward, we will continue to deepen our presence in the Australian market and work with partners to create long-term value for our customers."
