inko ESS, a global leading energy storage company and a subsidiary of Jinko Solar Co., Ltd., announced the signing of a cooperation agreement with a well-known Japanese industrial enterprise, planning to deliver 21 units of SunGiga 215kWh commercial and industrial (C&I) liquid-cooling energy storage systems, with a total project capacity of 4.515MWh. Focusing on the energy optimization needs of Japan's C&I sector, the project adopts the "energy storage + efficiency management" model to help the client improve energy utilization efficiency, ensure power supply stability, and support the local implementation of energy structure optimization goal.

The SunGiga 215kWh systems planned for delivery under this project are equipped with a high-efficiency liquid-cooling temperature control system that precisely controls the cell temperature difference within 2℃. They also adopt a fully enclosed cabinet design meeting the IP55 protection rating and incorporate a five-layer safety protection system covering "cell-battery pack-battery cluster-container-system." This enables stable operation across a wide temperature range to cope with extreme temperature differences between northern and southern Japan, preventing low-temperature and high-temperature shutdowns and ensuring the long-term stable operation of the systems.

"The signing of this project is a testament to our product's adaptability in the Asia-Pacific market and a key milestone in our expansion into Japan's C&I energy storage sector" said Bright Wang, General Manager of Jinko ESS Asia-Pacific. "In the future, we will continue to optimize localized solutions to help more Japanese enterprises improve energy resilience and promote the in-depth application of energy storage technology in regional energy transition."
