JinkoSolar announced its H1 2025 report last week, locking its No.1 position with 41.84 GW of module shipment. In May, the company took the SNEC stage to unveil the much-anticipated Tiger Neo 3.0, a new product built upon four core technologies, dubbed the "world's most powerful solar panel," 650-670 Wp power of front side, plus 85% Bifacility which is translated into 553-570 Wp of rear side, -0.26% temperature coefficient, 0.35% linear degradation, and extremely outstanding generation performance under low light conditions which impact 80% throughout life cycle of a solar system.

JinkoSolar kicked off the Tiger Neo 1.0 n-type TOPCon panel by Tiger Neo 2.0 in 2024, so far it has delivered over 200GW globally, making it the historically best selling model of solar panels. Today’s Tiger Neo 3. 0 is a staggering 30-watt increased in front side power, and a set of performance enhancements, with no end in sight. It is JinkoSolar’s 2025 answer to this dramatic upward spiral of high power and high yield (kWh) per watt demand.

JinkoSolar designed the Tiger Neo 3.0 to be the world’s most powerful and the world’s longest working-hour panel built for utility-scale,DG, and rooftop solar system. It has 30 watt more power than conventional TOPCon, also has 10-15% higher bifacility and an approximately 10% -20% yield gain than BC panels under low light conditions, for instance 200W/m2.

Not long ago, the efficiency limits of conventional TOPCon were a major challenged point by BC counterparts due to front side contact. Ultra-powerful Tiger Neo 3.0 arrives and has negated that limit the new cell-architecture fabled on new processing technologies take advantage of such contact interconnects.

The Tiger Neo 3.0 is built on the back of four key innovations ME, MAX, MCP and FP which can hardly or cost-sensibly be applied and adopted by BC cell. These state-of-the-art enhancement processes boost solar cell efficiency by altering how light interacts with the cell, increasing the amount of light absorbed by the solar cell’s active layer, leading to light entrapment and enhanced absorption within the solar cell architecture, and reducing recombination losses. As a result, it achieves overall cell and module efficiency.

It’s no surprise that most of the utility and DG market has lined up behind Tiger Neo 3.0. Major utility and DG customers have announced plans to utilize Tiger Neo 3.0 to continue to lower LCOE and optimize IRR, particularly maximizing the electricity free trade mechanism and arbitrating peak-valley price difference. JinkoSolar pioneered a panel for massively parallel front and rear side power advancing and has continued to push innovation. Utility developers expect to leverage Tiger Neo 3.0 in bifacial mind initiative and shift to a new benchmark of front side power + back side power. DG customers will be incorporating the electricity market pricing with the yield gain of Tiger Neo 3.0 in low light conditions.
