Recently, JinkoSolar, a globally innovative photovoltaic enterprise, announced a strategic partnership with a renowned UK clean energy distributor, successfully securing a 56.89MW order for its high-efficiency Tiger Neo 3.0 modules. The modules will be specifically supplied to UK commercial and industrial distributed PV projects, providing local enterprises with stable and efficient green power solutions.

As the core product of this collaboration, the Tiger Neo 3.0 module represents JinkoSolar's flagship offering built upon its leading N-type TOPCon technology. Compared to traditional modules, it achieves generational breakthroughs in multiple key performance metrics, precisely addressing core pain points in UK commercial and industrial distributed scenarios:

 1.       Superior low-light performance extends effective generation periods

The UK's climate, characterized by frequent cloud cover and rainfall throughout the year, imposes stringent demands on PV modules' low-light performance. Overcast and rainy days account for 85% of the year, with suboptimal sunlight conditions prevailing for most periods. To address this, the Tiger Neo 3.0 module incorporates next-generation N-type TOPCon cell technology. It maintains high power output even under low irradiance conditions of 200W/m², delivering 2.26%–2.49% higher low-light performance than competitors. This significantly boosts electricity generation during dawn, dusk, and overcast periods, making it perfectly suited for the UK's climate.

 2.       High Power and Efficiency: Space Utilization and Cost Advantages

The Tiger Neo 3.0 module achieves a mass production conversion efficiency of 24.8% with a maximum power output of 670W. Within the limited rooftop space of commercial and industrial buildings, this module enables larger system capacity installations, generating more green electricity while significantly reducing costs for mounting structures and cables. This maximizes customers' energy-saving, emission-reduction benefits, and investment returns.

 3.       Enhanced Bifaciality for Elevated Power Gains

Tailored for the common color-coated steel tile roofs in UK commercial and industrial settings, the Tiger Neo 3.0 achieves a bifaciality rate of 85±5%. This enables efficient capture of ground-reflected light, significantly boosting overall system power generation. UK commercial and industrial buildings predominantly feature light-colored color-coated steel tile roofs, which exhibit high natural light reflectivity. The module simultaneously captures both direct sunlight above the roof and scattered light reflected from the color-coated steel tiles below, creating a "bifacial power generation" effect.

 4.       Ultra-low degradation ensures stability and reliability, safeguarding long-term returns

The Tiger Neo 3.0 modules exhibit first-year degradation below 1% and annual degradation below 0.35%, guaranteeing stable power output and financial returns over 30-year cycles or longer. This aligns perfectly with UK businesses' long-term investment needs. Additionally, the modules pass rigorous environmental reliability testing, effectively addressing potential issues like waterproofing and load-bearing in rooftop installations. This reduces operational risks and ensures the long-term safe operation of commercial rooftop PV projects.
