JinkoSolar, the global leading PV and ESS supplier, has recently signed a 14MW ground power plant supply agreement with a customer in Georgia, adopting Tiger Neo 3.0 modules for the entire project. This agreement not only reflects the Georgian market’s strong recognition of JinkoSolar’s technological strengths but also serves as further proof of the value delivery of JinkoSolar’s N-type TOPCon technology in achieving higher power generation returns worldwide.

In Georgia, particularly in the Khashuri region, abundant sunlight and suitable terrain offer favorable conditions for ground power plant development. However, the real challenge lies in maximizing returns per square meter of land and per unit of investment under multiple constraints—such as significant temperature variations, manageable transportation and construction costs, and clear return-on-investment requirements. For the Georgian customer, the project’s revenue model is simple and direct: lower initial costs, higher power generation, and a shorter payback period. The Tiger Neo 3.0 modules deliver precisely on these core demands.

I. Maximizing Land Value: Higher Installation Returns with Less Land

In the Khashuri region, while land resources are available, every dollar of BOS cost must be carefully managed. With a maximum conversion efficiency of 24.8% and power output of 670W, the Tiger Neo 3.0 modules help the customer save approximately 8–10% on land occupation and initial investments in mounting structures and cabling for the 14MW capacity. This means a more compact footprint for the same project capacity and greater generation potential from the same land area—locking in revenue advantages from the very start.

II. Unfazed by Temperature Variations: Stable and Higher Generation in a Variable Climate

Khashuri’s inland location brings high summer daytime temperatures and significant day-night temperature differences, posing strict demands on module stability. With a temperature coefficient as low as -0.26%/°C, the Tiger Neo 3.0 modules experience significantly lower power degradation during high-temperature periods compared to conventional modules. Even at peak sunlight and highest temperatures around noon, the modules maintain strong output, turning Georgia’s solar irradiation into real generation gains and delivering consistent, season-crossing performance leadership.

III. Dual Gains: High Efficiency on the Front, Extra Yield from the Rear

With a bifaciality factor of up to 90%, the Tiger Neo 3.0 modules can take full advantage of the high-reflectance conditions of the Khashuri project site—such as light-colored soil and dry ground surfaces—to achieve an additional 5–10% power gain from the rear side. Moreover, with first-year degradation below 1% and annual linear degradation of only 0.35%, the modules deliver stable output for 30 years under Georgia’s climate.
