LONGi, the world’s leading solar technology manufacturer, has secured multiple supply contracts totaling approximately 100MW of Hi-MO 9 BC (Back Contact) solar modules in Guatemala. These agreements mark a significant step in LONGi’s expansion in Central America and reflect the growing demand for high-efficiency BC photovoltaic solutions in the country.
The Hi-MO 9 module, LONGi’s flagship product for large-scale projects, features BC technology that delivers higher efficiency and energy output, an improved temperature coefficient for optimized performance, and reduced degradation. Designed to maximize energy generation under diverse environmental conditions, Hi-MO 9 sets a new benchmark in solar innovation and reliability.
"We are proud to bring our most advanced module technology to Guatemala," said Antonio Morales, Regional Sales Coordinator for Mexico and Central America at LONGi. "These agreements reflect the continued trust in our BC solutions and strengthen LONGi’s position in the region’s growing renewable energy market."
These new contracts reinforce LONGi’s presence in Central America and underscore the key role of its BC solutions in driving the energy transition across Latin America.
