Konstanz, Germany, 16 June 2026 — RCT Solutions GmbH welcomes the planned joint venture with Wärtsilä for Wärtsilä’s global Energy Storage business.

With this step, RCT Solutions, a company founded and headquartered in Konstanz, will take an active role in supporting the next phase of a global battery energy storage business. The planned joint venture brings together Wärtsilä’s proven energy storage technology, international customer base and project experience with RCT Solutions’ engineering strength, industrial know-how and execution capabilities.

For RCT Solutions, this is a positive signal from Konstanz for Germany and Europe: global clean-energy markets need technology, experience and implementation strength, and European engineering continues to have an important role to play.

After closing of the transaction, Prof. Dr. Peter Fath, CEO of RCT Solutions GmbH, is designated to take on the role of CEO of the new joint venture.
