NSW, Australia, 21 August 2026 – As Australia’s aged care sector continues to focus on delivering high-quality services while managing rising operational challenges, sustainable and reliable energy solutions are becoming increasingly important. Sungrow, a globally leading PV inverter and energy storage system supplier, has partnered with MNC Solar Power to deliver an intelligent multi-building solar solution for Vincent Court Aged Care in Kempsey, NSW. The 244 kW solar installation is helping the facility reduce electricity costs, improve energy visibility, and strengthen operational resilience while supporting its commitment to providing high-quality care for residents.
Vincent Court is an 86-bed aged care facility in Kempsey, one of the Mid-North Coast’s most respected aged care facilities, with commercial kitchens, hot water systems, air conditioning, and essential services around the clock. With the kitchen being the largest energy consumer, powering combination ovens, dishwashers, and daily meal preparation, the facility sought to replace the old ineffective inverter system with a smarter and more reliable energy solution.
The installation features eight Sungrow PV inverters, five SG30CX 30-kW units and three SG20RT 20-kW units, all supported by six dataloggers configured in a master-slave architecture. The new Sungrow inverters deliver clarity, control, and confidence, enabling Vincent Court to visualize generation, consumption, and grid exports through a single intelligent platform.
“The Sungrow system is going to make a significant difference to our energy management and operating costs. We can now clearly see how much energy we are generating and consuming across all buildings. The savings will allow us to invest more resources into supporting our residents.” said Craig Baker, Maintenance Officer, Vincent Court.
The Sungrow inverters provide a modern, scalable solution capable of managing energy across multiple rooftops and switchboards without invasive trenching or complex rewiring.
“With our logger-cascading solution, all loggers communicate over the same network via Modbus TCP, so there’s no need for trenching even with inverters on different buildings. Everything reports back to one master logger and smart meter on the main switchboard, giving the whole site a single, unified view on iSolarCloud.” said Amit Raj Pant, Technical Service Engineer of Sungrow.
The solution enables Vincent Court to achieve:
· Centralised intelligent management through iSolarCloud
· Real-time Multi-building visibility without trenching
· Zero-export capability when required
· Scalable integration for future expansion
“Working with Sungrow has been seamless. Their support keeps us at the top of our game, especially on large-scale sites like this. The new system brings all inverters together into one easy-to-use platform, making life easier for both installers and customers.” said Dean Galvin, Managing Director of MNC Solar Power.
With an intelligent management system, multi-building integration, and strong local technical support, Sungrow remains committed to empowering Australian businesses, communities, and essential services with sustainable energy solutions that create lasting environmental and social value.
