FRANKFURT, Germany, June 2026 — Suntech has officially inaugurated its Frankfurt Solar & Storage Service Center during Intersolar Europe 2026, marking a new step in the company’s expansion of localized operations and integrated PV-storage services in Europe.
The opening underscores Suntech’s strategy to shift from product delivery to full lifecycle energy service capabilities in overseas markets, with Europe identified as a key growth region.
Senior executives attending the inauguration included Jianliang Yang, Chairman of HY SOLAR; Hao Yang, General Manager of Suntech; Vincent Cao, Vice President; Kyle Xu, General Manager of Suntech Europe Sales; Joey Zheng, General Manager of Suntech Asia-Pacific and Latin America Sales; and Lantao Chang, Global Customer Support Director.
Strategic European hub in Frankfurt
Located in Frankfurt, a major logistics and financial hub in Germany, the new center is designed to serve as a regional node for Suntech’s European operations.
The facility integrates product demonstration, technical support, project coordination, training, and partner collaboration, aiming to improve response efficiency and strengthen localized customer service across Europe.
Expanding PV and energy storage integration
The launch comes as Europe accelerates its energy transition and demand for distributed solar and energy storage systems continues to grow.
Suntech’s “SunStorage” portfolio covers residential, commercial & industrial (C&I), and utility-scale applications, combining energy storage systems with its high-efficiency N-type photovoltaic modules.
The company’s storage solutions include residential systems, C&I all-in-one cabinets, containerized storage units, and hybrid inverter platforms, supported by an AI-enabled energy management system for dispatch optimization, peak shaving, and backup power applications.
Strengthening local service capabilities
The Frankfurt center also enhances Suntech’s after-sales and operational capabilities in Europe, including localized warehousing, technical support, and project service functions.
The facility will support faster delivery, improved service responsiveness, and closer collaboration with regional partners, particularly as European markets place increasing emphasis on lifecycle support, spare parts availability, and operational efficiency.
Long-term European commitment
The launch reflects Suntech’s long-term commitment to expanding its presence in Europe and building a localized energy service ecosystem.
The company added it will continue to leverage its integrated PV value chain and energy storage capabilities to support Europe’s transition toward low-carbon energy systems.
