The 200MW PV project in hilly terrain of Deqing County, Guangdong Province was successful connected to rid, fully deploying Trinasolar’s high-efficiency Vertex N 700W+ series modules.
Located in a subtropical region, Deqing County enjoys abundant sunshine, making it an ideal location for PV plants. However, wedged between mountains and hills, Deqing also experiences frequent rainfall and varying light conditions throughout the day. To ensure stable operation and achieve higher returns, it is essential to adopt PV modules that deliver both high reliability and consistent energy yield under low-irradiance conditions.
In this project, Trinasolar Vertex N 700W+ modules were selected for their excellent low-irradiance performance, exceptional reliability and high bifaciality. The superior low-irradiance performance ensures stable and efficient energy yield during mornings, evenings, and even cloudy or rainy weather. The modules’ high reliability, recognized by RETC and Kiwa PVEL, provide further assurance of stable, long-term project performance.
The project is expected to generate an average of 205.85 million kWh of clean electricity annually, and is connected directly to the local power grid, meeting rising electricity demand in Deqing.
“The successful grid connection of the Deqing project once again proves the superior performance and reliability of our Vertex N 700W+ series,” said Vincent Wu, president of China MU at Trinasolar. “We have recently officially begun the global supply of our upgraded TOPCon 2.0 modules, with large-format modules reaching up to 740W in mass production this year. This will definitely unlock greater value for customers.”
