Trinasolar Yiwu base has successfully upgraded its Zero-Carbon Factory (Type I) certification to Five-Star, following the rigorous auditing by Ti Group. This marks the company’s third consecutive year receiving this prestigious accolade and highlights Trinasolar’s leadership in sustainable manufacturing.

“It’s an honor for our Yiwu factory to once again receive the Zero-Carbon Factory certification,” said Zhang Hongzhi, Head of EHS Department at Trinasolar. “Trinasolar has always been an active advocator in ESG and sustainable development. We have made steady, step-by-step progress—advancing from Three-Star to Four-Star, and now to Five-Star recognition. We hope our experience can offer a replicable and scalable zero-carbon model for the solar and energy storage industry and beyond.

By translating its ESG principles into practice, Trinasolar has enhanced energy efficiency at its Yiwu base through continuous improvements in energy management and equipment upgrades. As a result, carbon emissions (tCO₂e) have been reduced by 27.21%, enabling the site to achieve 100% offset of direct and energy-related indirect emissions and pass the Five-Star Zero-Carbon Factory re-certification.

The outstanding performance of Yiwu base was once again highly praised by Ti Group during the December 2025 re-certification audit under the Evaluation Specification for Zero-Carbon Factories, covering six areas: infrastructure, energy and carbon management, resource use, greenhouse gas reduction measures, and carbon offset implementation.

Building on the success of the Yiwu base, Trinasolar will extend zero-carbon practices to more sites, and collaborate with partners to support the global energy transition and contribute to a net-zero future.
