Only 4 products listed in the TaiyangNews PV Price Index saw a change in their prices in
Calendar Week 14. All 4 products were down low- to mid-single-digits.
While 4 of the 5 polysilicon types listed maintained their prices in CW14, granular silicon declined -6.8% Week-on-Week (WoW).
While both the p-type wafers listed were stable WoW, the 2 n-type wafers listed were down single-digits from last week.
PERC bifacial variants maintained their prices WoW, while the TOPCon type listed lost -2.1% from CW13.
All the module types listed maintained their prices WoW. While the PERC module types are down low-single-digits both MoM and YtD, the TOPCon variety is down -5.9% YtD.
Solar glass types continued to be stable in CW14, after the 3.2 mm solar glass lost -8.9% and the 2.0 mm lost almost double that at – 17.5% in CW10.
Most products listed in the TaiyangNews PV Price Index have seen price declines MoM, and all but one product YtD. While module prices have seen the least amount of decline with low- to mid-single-digit decreases YtD, wafer prices have declined the most ranging from -10.0% for p-type 182 mm wafers to -30.4% for n-type 182 mm. Chinese n-type polysilicon and PERC bifacial 182 mm cells are the only 2 products to see upward price movements YtD.
