After a 2-week pause, the TaiyangNews PV Price Index partially resumed its general declining trend in Calendar Week 25.
All Chinese polysilicon prices were down single-digits WoW, ranging from -3.9% for granular silicon to -5.6% for the Chinese 9N type.
For the 4th week running, there were no changes to wafer prices in the TaiyangNews PV Price Index.
The TOPCon n-type 210 mm cell, the latest addition to the index, was the only cell type to see a price decline (-2.8%).
PERC module prices were down -1.2% to -2.5% WoW, while the TOPCon bifacial declined -3.5%.
Solar glass prices continue to be stable WoW after the 3.2 mm (thicker) variant saw a 2.0% increase in CW15
The TaiyangNews PV Price Index is back to its declining trend after a 2-week pause. While global polysilicon maintains its price levels, all Chinese polysilicon types have crossed the -40.2% mark YtD. Among wafers, the n-type 182 mm variant has lost exactly half its value YtD, at -50.0%. Cell prices have registered up to a -37.5% decline YtD, while modules have been relatively stable so far this year, losing only up to -18.6%.
