The TaiyangNews PV Price Index saw another week of relative stability in Calendar Week 31, with only 2 listed products seeing any price movement from CW30.
Polysilicon prices have maintained their levels since seeing mid-single-digit price declines in CW25.
Wafer prices have been stable for 10 consecutive weeks now, with no price changes seen since CW21.
The TOPCon n-type 210 mm was the only cell type to see a change in CW31, declining -3.0% WoW.
While 3 of the 4 listed module types maintained their prices, the PERC bifacial 210 mm module declined -1.3% WoW.
Solar glass prices were stable WoW, after the 3.2 mm solar glass declined -1.9% and the 2.0 mm (thinner) glass declined -4.2% last week.
While the last 7 weeks have been relatively stable, the TaiyangNews PV Price Index has seen considerable declines in CY2024. All Chinese polysilicon types have crossed the -40.2% mark YtD. Among wafers, the n-type 182 mm variant has lost exactly half its value YtD, at -50.0%. Declines in cell prices are approaching -40.0% YtD, while modules have been relatively stable so far this year, losing only up to -21.6%.
